Mumbai : Indian indices opened on positive note on June 20 (Monday) with Nifty above 15300. At 09:16 IST, the Sensex was up 136.56 points or 0.27% at 51496.98, and the Nifty was up 32.80 points or 0.21% at 15326.30. About 1148 shares have advanced, 752 shares declined, and 117 shares are unchanged.
Sunpharma, Asian Paints, Hindustan Uniliver, HDFC are the top gainers, while ONGC, Coal India, Tata Steel JSW Steel are the top losers.
