Mumbai : Indian indices opened flat on July 27 on the back of weak global cues. At 09:16 IST, the 30-share based Sensex was down 6.79 points or 0.01% at 55261.70, and the broad based Nifty was down 7.90 points or 0.05% at 16475.90. About 948 shares have advanced, 698 shares declined, and 88 shares are unchanged.
