Mumbai : Indian indices opened on positive note on November 15 with Nifty above 18000 points amid positive global cues.
At 09:15 IST, the BSE Sensex was up 230.41 points or 0.38% at 60917.10, and the Nifty was up 73.20 points or 0.40% at 18176. About 1324 shares have advanced, 624 shares declined, and 106 shares are unchanged.
ONGC, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints, Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while Grasim, Hindalco, Cipla, Reliance Industries are the major losers.
