New Delhi : The Union government on Monday cleared that Indian Railways has not charged any fare from the stranded people being transported through the special Shramik Trains.
“We never talked about charging workers; 85 per cent fare borne by Railways, while 15 per cent by state governments,” said Lav Agrawal, Joint Secy, Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, as many as 1074 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, which is the highest number in terms of cured patients noted till date. Our recovery rate is now 27.52%. In the last 24 hours 2553 new cases have been reported taking the total number of COVID19 cases is now 42533, he said.
