Supreme Court stays implementation of 3-farm laws until further orders, forms 4-member committee to find solution

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India on Tuesday suspended the implementation of farm laws until further orders.

“We are staying the implementation of 3 laws. We are going to suspend the implementation of the laws until further orders,” Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said. The virtual hearing was chaired by a three-judge bench of the CJI, Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramania.

The apex court has also formed a 4-member committee to find a solution to the impasse. Members of the Supreme Court Ordered Committee are Jitender Singh Maan, President BKU,  Dr Pramod KumarJoshi, International policy head,  Ashok Gulati, Agricultural Economist and  Anil Dhanvat, Shivkeri Sangathna, Maharashtra.
