Paradip-Hyderabad pipeline to be commissioned by mid-2020, IOCL drops 0.16%

Bhubaneswar:  The 1212 KM Paradip-Hyderabad pipeline (PHPL) being executed by the South Eastern Region ppipeline ofIndian Oil Corporation’s (IOCL) is expected to be commissioned by mid-2020 IOCL is planning to invest  Rs.3321 Crore in the project which will ensure uninterrupted fuel supply to the states like Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. PHPL will originate from Odisha’s Paradip and terminate at Hyderbad. The 4.5 MMTA project will facilitate the vacuation of white oil products like MS, HSD, SKO & ATF.

“The major works has already been awarded and the construction work has been started. We are expecting the project will be commissioned by 2020” said Mr P.C.Choubey,   Executive Director, South Eastern Region pipeline, IOCL.

The company is also working on two other projects namely Dhamra-Haldia-Paadip LNG project (DHPPL) and Paradip-somnathpur (Balasore) –Haldia Product pipeline(PSHPL). These two upcoming projects are at the advanced stage of detailed Engineering Survey.

The Bhubaneswar headquartered SERPL is operating 227 KM section of Paradip –Haldia-Barauni crude oil pipeline (PHBPL), 1073 KM Paradip-Raipur-Ranchi product pipeline (PRRPL), 243 KM section of Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur LPG pipeline (PHDPL).

The Indian Oil share price ( BSE code: IOC) today witness 0.16% drop to Rs.155.25 at the BSE.
