Bhubaneswar: In a bid to attract young voters ahead of the Panchayat and Civic polls, the Odisha government on Monday raised maximum age limit for government jobs from 32 to 38. SC,ST, OBC and Woman candidates will get additional 5 years age relaxation. On the other hand, General PwD candidates will get additional 10 year age relaxation i.e. upto 48 years and ST/SC/OBC PwD candidates will get additional 15 years age relaxation i.e. upto 53 years.
This is among the 12 proposals adapted at the state Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik.
The age relaxation will be applicable for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 recruitment years, a government release said.
