Mumbai: After facing several technical glitches in the last few days, the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) today said that it has settled the technical issues after a thorough diagnosis by its technical team and experts from its IT vendors. It has also implemented a solution will prevent further technical glitch in the system.
“MCX and its vendors—for software, hardware and the operating system—have carried out detailed analysis of the log records and observed that the incident occurred due to a low level TCP (transmission control protocol) packet transmission issue. Thereafter, working with the vendors, MCX has implemented a solution which will prevent this issue in the system” MCX said.
Few days back, MCX had to convene a special trading session in the night, after technical glitch halted several minutes of trading hours.
