New Delhi: The slowdown in India’s automobile industry has continued in July also. Maruti Suzuki India, the market leader, sold a total of 109,264 units in July 2019, a drop of 33.5%.
The domestic sales dropped by 36% to 98,210 units in July 2019 from 154,150 units in July 2018. The exports also plunged by 9.4% to 9,258 units.
The Cumulative sales of the company during the April-July 4 months has dropped by 22% to 511,858 units from 54,848 units. The domestic sales during the 4 months has dropped by 24.2% to 468,195 units. However, exports have remain flat at 37,371 units.
