New Delhi : India’s top car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India has reported 26% rise in total seles to 172,512 units in May 2018, against 136,962 units in May 2017. This includes 163,200 units in domestic market (up 24.9%) and 9,312 units of exports (up 48.1%). The passenger car segment witnessed a sales growth of 25.4% to 119,151 units. During the April-May period the company’s total sales has increased by 20% to 345,498 units. This includes 3,281,78 units in domestic market (up 19.3%) and 17,320 units of exports (up 33.1%).
The company had reported 14.4% growth in total sales at 172,986 units in April 2018. This included 164,978 units in domestic market and 8,008 units of exports.
