Bhubaneswar : India on Saturday recorded yet another record spike with 2.34 lakh new cases and 1341 deaths. With this India’s total number of cases has gone up to 1.45 crore, according to the data released by the Health Ministry.
Yesterday India tested 1495397 samples out of which 2.34 lakh samples were found to be COVID-19 positive with a positivity rate of 15.69 per cent. However, India’s overall positivity rate has also risen to 5.48 per cent.
Out of total 1.45 crore cases, 16.79 lakh are active cases while the number of recoveries has increased to 1.26 crore. In the last 24 hours as many as 1.23 lakh people have recovered from the Viral infection.
