India reports 3.23 lakh new COVID-19 cases, nearly 30,000 less than previous day’s record surge

Biznextindia : In a slight respite for the government, India has reported 3.23 lakh new cases in the last 24 hours against more than 3.5 lakh in the previous day.

As per the official data released by the Union Health Ministry, the country has reported 3,23,144 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, which is 29847 lesser than the previous day’s record 3,52,991 cases. With these new cases, India’s COVID-19 tally has increased to 1.76 crore.

India has also reported lesser number of deaths of 2771 in the last 24 hours which is 41 less than the previous day’s death toll of 2812.

Meanwhile, as many as 2,51,827 patinets have discharged yesterday taking the total number of recoveries to 1.45 crore.
