Election Commission press meet LIVE: Dates to be announced shortly

NewDelhi : The Election Commission of India (ECI) is poised to unveil the timetable for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections of 2024 on Saturday, March 16th. This announcement will be done during a press briefing at 3 pm in the national capital. Led by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, the electoral body will disclose vital specifics regarding the general elections, such as voting dates, phases delineating voting across various states, and the declaration of results. Alongside the Lok Sabha elections schedule, the Election Commission will also announce the dates for the state Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha.
