Domestic LPG cylinder gets costlier by Rs.50

Biznextindia : India’s State owned Oil Marketing Companies on Wednesday raised prices of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) or cooking gas cylinder of the 14.2-kg variant by Rs 50 with effect from Wednesday.

After the change, domestic cooking gas cylinders now cost Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai from Rs 1002.50 earlier, to Rs 1,079 in Kolkata from Rs 1,029 earlier, and Rs 1068.50 instead of Rs 1,058.50 in Chennai.

The price of the 5-kg domestic cylinder price was also hiked by Rs 18; however, the 19-kg commercial cylinder costs Rs 8.50 cheaper.
Over the past one year, the rate of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders in the national capital has been increased from Rs 834.50 to Rs 1,003. Domestic LPG cylinder price was last increased by Rs 4 on May 19, 2022.
