Mumbai: Chetan Sharma, the chief selector for Team India, has resigned from his position. In light of his controversial remarks during the TV Sting, Sharma was under scrutiny and had submitted his resignation to BCCI secretary Jay Shah, who accepted it.

Among Sharma’s other revelations were that players such as Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya frequently visited him, and that some Indian cricketers received injections despite being fully fit.
