New Delhi: After a 3 month break, union minister Arun Jaitley, today resumed charge as the minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs. He had undergone a kidney transplant surgery on May 14.
President Ram Nath Kovind has directed to assign portfolios of Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs to Arun Jaitley. During his indisposition, union Railways and Coal minister Piyush Goyal had assumed additional responsibility of the finance and corporate affairs portfolio. Meanwhile, Jatiley was attended the House during the No-Trust motion held last month.
