Odisha issues Notification for auction of 9 more Iron Ore, Manganese Blocks
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday issued Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT) for auction of 9 Iron Ore and Manganese blocks. These 9 blocks include 7 Iron Ore blocks, 1 Iron Ore-Manganese Block and 1 Manganese block.
This is the 5th mining auction by the Odisha government this year and 3rd in the current month. On 14th of October the government had issued NIT for auction of another 10 mining blocks. On 4th of October also, the state government had issued NIT for auction of total 10 Iron Ore and Manganese Ore blocks.
The 7 Iron Ore blocks to be auctioned are Purheibahal Iron Ore Block, Chandiposhi Iron Ore Block, Rengalaberha North-East Iron Ore Block, Gandhalpada Iron Ore Block , Netrabandha Pahar (West) Iron Ore Block, Dholtapahar Iron Ore Block, Jumka Pathriposhi Iron Ore Block.
Similalry, Uchabali Iron Ore-Manganese block and Kalimati Manganese blocks will also be auctioned.
“Last date for purchase of Tender Document after payment of a tender fee on website of e-auction platform provider (https://www.mstcecommerce.com) is Friday, November 29, 2019 and the last date for submission of the bid is Wednesday, December 04, 2019 on or before 12:00 noon (IST)” the NIT said.
