Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Friday issued a fresh NIT (Notice Inviting Tender) for auction of as many as 20 mining blocks including 12 Iron Ore, 2 Manganese and 6 Iron & Manganese blocks. The state government had cancelled the previous auction process of these mines citing technical error in the Tender document.
MSTC will conduct the auction process and the last date for sale of tender document is December 30 while the last date for submission of the bid is January 3.
The lease period of these 20 mining blocks are slated to expire on March 31, 2020. The Price of Tender Document for each mineral block is Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh).
In the event a prospective Bidder/ Bidder has purchased the Tender Document for a particular mineral block in response to the Notice Inviting Tenders dated October 04, 2019 and/or October 14, 2019 such Bidders can avail the afore-mentioned Tender Document of such mineral block without paying the above mentioned Tender Fee.
