JSW November Crude Steel production drops to 1.39MT on Monthly basis

Bhubaneswar: JSW Steel, part of the diversified US$ 13 billion JSW Group, today reported 2% rise in Crude Steel production at 13.90 lakh tonnes (1.39 MT) for November 2018, over November 2017. In November 2017 the company had produced 13.62 lakh tonnes of Crude steel. However, on a month-on-month basis, the output has dropped by almost 4%.  In October 2018, the company has produced about 14.47 lakh tonnes of crude steel in October 2018.

Of the total 13.90 lakh tonnes, production of flat-rolled products dropped by 5% to 9.15 lakh tonne from 9.77 lakh tonne in November 2017 and production of Rolled products (long) increased by 17% to 3.48 lakh tonne from 2.99 lakh tonne in October 2017.
