Biznextindia : Fiem Industries Limited (FIEM) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gogoro India Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Gogoro Taiwan) to broaden its product range in the 2-Wheeler Electric Vehicles (EV) sector. Under this agreement, Fiem Industries will expand its offerings beyond its existing Lighting and Rear View Mirror business, and will now produce Hub Motor Assembly, Electric Control Unit (ECU), and Motor Control Unit (MCU) for Gogoro. As per the terms of the MoU, Gogoro will provide technical expertise and other assistance in the establishment of the manufacturing facility, as well as in the areas of production, quality control, and testing for this new product line.

FIEM has been able to garner the Automotive Lighting and Rear View Mirror business from large number of 2-Wheeler Electric Vehicles (2WEVs) OEMs in India and many 2WEVs OEMs are FIEM’s customers.
