Bajaj Auto July sales slip by 4%

Biznextindia : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles, has reported 4 percent drop in overall sales in July 2022 at 3,54,670 vehicles, as against 3,69,116 vehicles in July 2021. Overall, domestic sales grew by 9 percent to 182,956, while exports dropped by 15 percent to 184,300 units.

In June, the company had reported marginal rise in sales at 3,47,004 units. However, domestic sales had dipped by 15 percent to 138,351 units.

In the April-July 4 months, Bajaj has reported 6 percent drop in sales at 12,88,316 units as against 13,75,130 units during the corresponding 4 months of FY22. Domestic sales grew by 2 percent to 5,35,792 units and Exports dropped by 12 percent to 7,52,524 units.
