Bajaj Auto January sales dip 15%

Biznextindia : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles, has reported 15 percent drop in overall sales in January 2022 at 3,63,443 vehicles, as against 4,25,199 vehicles in January 2021.

The company has reported 3 percent drop in sales in December 2021 at 3,62,470 vehicles. The company’s domestic sales during the month of December drop by 12 percent to 1,49,656 units, while export sales also plunged 16 percent at 2,13,787 vehicles. The company’s overall two-wheeler sales dropped by 16 percent to 3,23,430 units in January 2022.

In the April 2021-Jan 2022 10 months period, Bajaj has reported 14 percent rise in sales at 36,95,225 vehicles as against 32,28,449 units during the corresponding 10 months of FY 21.Domestic sales, during the 10 month-period was remain flat at 15,62,308.
