Visaka Industries reports 7% rise in Q2 net profit

Hyderabad : Visaka Industries Limited has reported 29% growth in total revenue from operations at Rs. 292.25 crore for the July-September quarter as compared to the corresponding quarter of FY21. Profit before Tax (PBT) for the quarter was INR 32 crore as compared to INR 30 crore showing an increase of 6.88%. The company’s net Profit for the quarter rose by 6.66% year on year to 22.30 crore

The company’s total revenue from operations (net) for the six-month period (April-September) was INR 641.31crore, 25.41% higher than the corresponding period of FY21. PBT for the six-month was INR 86.66 crore as compared to INR 76. 05 crore in the corresponding period last year, showing an increase of 13.94%.

Net Profit for the period after tax was INR 64.37 crore as compared to INR 56.72 crore in the corresponding Half-Year ended September 2020 showing an increase of 13.48%.
