Mumbai : Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Thursday said that India will play an important role in gobal energy system. RIL will make its energy business a truly global energy business.
He said, work on developing the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex on 5,000 acres in Jamnagar has begun.
He said that his company has successfully raised capitals worth Rs. 3.24 lakh crore in 2020-21 financial year. This is the largest ever capital raised by any company globally in a financial year.
“Our business & financial success since last Annual General Meeting has exceeded expectations. But what has given me more happiness than our business performance is RIL’s humanitarian efforts during these difficult times” Ambani said at the company’s 44th AGM.
