HDFC Home loan EMIs to be costlier from Wednesday

Biznextindia : Home loan EMIs (Equated Monthly Installments) of HDFC will be costlier from June 1, Wednesday as the lender has incrased its Retail Prime Lending Rate (RPLR) on Housing loans, on which its Adjustable Rate Home Loans (ARHL) are benchmarked, by 5 basis points.

“HDFC increases its Retail Prime Lending Rate (RPLR) on Housing loans, on which its Adjustable Rate Home Loans (ARHL) are benchmarked, by 5 basis points, with effect from June 1, 2022” HDFC said in a statement.

Last month, HDFC had increased RPLR twice i.e. on 1st May and 9th May by 5 basis points and 30 basis points respectively.

With this hike, HDFC home loan interest rates from June 1 will be the range of 7.05-7.50%.
