Biznext india : Bajaj Auto, India’s largest seller of three-wheeler vehicles and second largest seller of two-wheeler vehicles, has narrowed its monthly drop in sales on improvement in domestic demand.
The company on Monday reported 3 percent drop in its December 2021 sales at 3,62,470 vehicles as against 3,72,532 vehicles in December 2020. The company has reported 10% drop in sales in November 2021 at 3,79,276 units.
The company’s domestic sales during the month of December rose by 5 percent at 1,45,979 units, while export sales also plunged 7 percent at 2,16,491 units.
The company’s overall two-wheeler sales dropped by 6 percent to 3,18,769 units in December 2021.
