With 62939 cases, India is now the 14th worst affected country in the World

Recovery rate crosses 30% mark, death rate stable at 3.3%

Bhubaneswar: India’s total number of cases crossed the 62 thousand mark on Sunday making the country as the 14th worst affected country in the world.

As per the latest data released by the Health Ministry, India’s total cases rose to 62939 by Sunday morning. This includes 41472 active cases and 2109 deaths while 19357 people have been recovered from the deadly infection and one person have migrated.

With 1511 recoveries in the last 24 hours, India’s recovery rate has crossed the 30% mark. However, the world recovery rate has improved further to 35%.

India has also managed to keep its death rate stable at 3.3 per cent for the last several weeks.
