Mumbai: BSE Sensex opened higher 455.92 points or 0.77 percent at 59,484.83 and NSE Nifty gains 134.40 points or 0.76 percent at 17,758.80 on Thursday.
Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra, Bharti airtel, BPCL are the top gainers, while Coal India, ONGC,SBILIFE and Hero Motocorp are among the top losers.
