Mumbai : Indian indices opened on flat note on December 2 amid mixed global cues. At 09:16 IST, the BSE Sensex was up 48.12 points or 0.08% at 57732.91, and the NSE Nifty was up 16.80 points or 0.10% at 17183.70. About 1056 shares have advanced, 563 shares declined, and 99 shares are unchanged.
M&M, HDFC, IOC, BPCL, Poergrid, Sun Pharma and Asian Paints were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were ONGC, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Adani ports, Hindalco, L&T and Nestle India.
