Mumbai: Indian Indices open firm on April 10 with Nifty above 17600 on mixed global cues. At 09:17 hrs IST, the Sensex was up 123.22 points or 0.21% at 59,956.19, and the Nifty was up 40.00 points or 0.23% at 17,639.20. About 1649 shares advanced, 708 shares declined, and 158 shares unchanged. Tata Motors, Adani Enterprises, Titan Company, Larsen and Toubro and ONGC were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, IndusInd Bank, Britannia and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
