No Alliance with BJD, BJP to go solo in Odisha, clears Manmohan Samal

Bhubaneswar: Putting all speculations regarding any possible coalition with BJD in Odisha to rest, the BJP today announced that it would fight the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state alone. State BJP president Manmohan Samal in a post in X has cleared that the party will go solo in the upcoming polls. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also reposted Manmohan’s ‘X’ post.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party will go solo in all 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats in Odisha in the upcoming twin polls,” said Manmohan Samal in a Twitter (X) posts today.
Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP will contest the elections alone to fulfill the aspirations of 4.5 crore Odias. The BJP’s motto is to bring rapid development to Odisha as well as India, Samal added.
