Paradip Port Marine Team rescues 3 Bangladeshi sailors from drowning

Bhubaneswar: The Marine team of Paradip Port on Thursday successfully rescued three Bangladeshi sailors from drowning in deep sea.

According to reports, the 3 Bangladesh crew members along with their rescue boat fell into the sea, while their ship Ocean Century was awaiting at the PPT Anchorage Point, this afternoon. The Malta Flag bearing ship has come to PPT for Iron ore loading.

After receiving information, Marine Rescue Team of PPT led by Harbour Master Capt. A.C. Sahu came to the rescue by rushing in the Port Patrolling Craft and Tug Boat for the concerned 2nd Engineer, 3rd Engineer and Electrical Engineer, who have fell into grave danger They have been brought to the PPT Hospital, where their condition is said to be stable. The rescue boat was being brought from the deep sea to the PPT Harbour. The timely step taken by the Port Marine Department has been the talk of the Paradip Town, today.
