Odisha reports highest ever 1977 new cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported record 1977 new positive cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 54630. Out of the 1977 new cases, 1241 are from quarantine centers and 736 are local contacts.

According to the data released by Information and Public relations department, out of the 1977 new cases, highest 332 cases have been reported from Khorda district followed by Ganjam with 280 cases. While, Mayurbhanj has reported 120 cases, Bhadrak and Cuttack have reported 118 cases and 101 cases respectively.

 

Odisha has so far conducted 807826 tests with a positivity rate of 6.7 per cent. Out of the total 54630 cases, 16353 are active cases while 37900 patients have cured from the infection.
