Bhubaneswar: With 2 more recovered from Coronavirus today, Odisha’s recovery rate now stands at 38%, which is double the national rate of 19%.
Across India 3869 (19%) of the total 19,984 covid19 patients had recovered as on Monday morning. However, with 2 fresh recoveries, Odisha’s total recovery case has increased to 32, which is 38% of the total 83 positive cases.
Out of the 83 cases, 52 are active cases and one person has died.
With several timely measures, Odisha has so far managed to keep its total cases under 100. The Union Health Ministry has also praised Odisha and Kerala for their effective COVID19 management. Both Kerala and Odisha have the best doubling rate in the country.
However, a sharp increase in cases in the last 3-days has pressed the alarm bell in the state administration. As many as 21 positive cases have been reported since Monday and all have either travel history to West Bengal or linked to them.
