XIMB announces 100% placement, average salary rises to Rs.15 lakh

Bhubaneswar:  The Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier School of Human Resource Management, and Xavier School of Rural Management on Wednesday announced 100% placement of its 2018-20 batches of students with highest salary scaled up to Rs.58.22 lakh per annum.

Total 199 companies participated in the placement process which includes 107 companies in the MBA-Business Management (BM), 57 in MBA-Human Resource Management (HRM) and 35 companies in the MBA-Rural Management (RM).

The institute  hosted new recruiters like AB InBev, Tolaram Group, Goldman Sachs,Adani Wilmar, Mahindra & Mahindra, Delhivery.

The institutes also hosted several other prominent recruiters such as Deloitte, ICICI Bank, PwC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Amul, Extramarks, GAIL, Tata Steel.

While, the highest international package for Business Management has been recorded at Rs.58.22 lakh per annum, the highest domestic salary has been recorded at Rs.26 lakh per annum.

The average salary for Business Management students has been recorded at Rs.15.42 lakh per annum and median salary at Rs.15 lakh per annum. Similarly, the average salary for HRM students has been recorded at Rs.12.87 lakh per annum and median salary at Rs.12.09 lakh per annum.

On the other hand, the average salary for RM students has been recorded at Rs.7.78 lakh per annum and median salary at Rs.7.5 lakh per annum.
