XIMB achieves 100% placement despite pandemic challenge

Bhubaneswar: Despite the pandemic and subdued economic scenario, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), under the Xavier University has achieved 100 percent placement for all its courses for the year 2021.

XIMB has placed all its students of MBA (Business Management) 2019-21 at an average salary of Rs.15.15 lakh per annum while the highest domestic salary is Rs.24 lakh per annum. All 374 students of the batch participated in the placement process attended by as many as 97 domestic and international recruiters including Morgan Stanley Capital International, BNY Mellon, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Consumer Care, Viacom18, Royal Enfield, HashedIn by Deloitte, L&T Infotech, Accenture etc.

The School of Human Recourse Management has also reported 100 per cent placement as all the 129 students of the 2019-21 batch have been placed at an average salary of Rs.12.03 lakh per annum while the highest domestic salary is Rs.20 lakh per annum. As many as 52 companies were participated in the recruitment process out of which 26 were new recruiters. Some of the 52 companies participated in the recruitment process are Deloitte, Cognizant, Capgemini, L&T, IBM, Infosys, Accenture, EY GDS, ITC Ltd., Aarti Industries, Vedanta, GAIL, Tata Steel.

Meanwhile, the School of Rural Management of the University also reported almost 100 per cent placement at an average salary of Rs.6.80 lakh per annum while the highest domestic salary is Rs.11.62 lakh per annum. As many as 35 companies including Amul, RBL Finserve, Prestige, Satin Credit Care, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, Samunnati Small Finance Bank, ESAF Small Finance Bank, PwC, RBL Bank, IFFCO, Optimus Pharma, Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society–Jeevika, and PRADAN participated in the recruitment process.
