Will the SENSEX touch 37,000 mark today ?
Sensex just 129 point away from the historic 37K mark, Nifty remains above 11K
Mumbai: After reaching record heights yesterday, the indices today continued their bullish run on positive Asian Markets. Maximum gain seen in the IT and infrastructure stocks with shares of ACC gain by 13%.
The BSE Sensex today opened with a record height at 36810.75 points and steadily moving towards the 37,000 mark. NSE Nifty also opened above the 11000 mark and currently trading at 11,130.85 points, a gain of 46.10 points. The Asian stocks today opened on a positive note with Japan’s Nikkei 225 up by 0.60%.
Among the major Gainers, ACC gained the most, up by 13% to Rs. 1475.70 followed by L&T Technology Services ( LTTS) by 12% to Rs. 1463.50 and India Cements by 9.2% to Rs.117.50.
On the other hand, the Indian Rupee today opened lower by 10 paise at 68.96 per US dollar on Tuesday against 68.86 yesterday.
