Mumbai: Indian Markets continued to rise in the early hours of Thursday also. At 10 am the Sensex was down 65.97 points or 0.10% at 63,457.18, and the Nifty was down 10.50 points or 0.06% at 18,846.30. About 1592 shares advanced, 1318 shares declined, and 121 shares unchanged.
At the opening (1.16 am) The Sensex was down 99.70 points or 0.16% at 63,423.45, and the Nifty was down 19.10 points or 0.10% at 18,837.70. About 1600 shares advanced, 714 shares declined, and 111 shares unchanged.
HDFC Life, M&M, Adani Ports, Hindalco and SBI Life Insurance were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Tata Steel, Infosys, Power Grid Corp, HUL and HCL Technologies.
