Mumbai : Indian indices opened weak on April 15 with Nifty below 22.350 on weak global cues due to rising geo-political tensions. The BSE Sensex was down 660.23 points or 0.89 percent at 73,577.88, and the Nifty was down 0.89 percent at 22,329.75. Hindalco, ONGC,TCS, Infosys are the top gainers, While Tata Motors, BPCL, Tata Steel,Adani Enterprises arre the top losers.
Meanwhile, Indian rupee opened flat at 83.43 per dollar versus Friday’s close of 83.43.
