Bhubaneswar: Public sector Iron Ore miner NMDC has produced 8.39 million tonnes of Iron Ore during the April-July period which includes 5.50 million tonnes from Chhattisgarh and 2.89 million tonnes from Karnataka.
The company has sold 8.72 million tonnes of Iron Ore during the period which includes 7.08 million tonnes in Chattisgarh and 1.64 million tonnes in Karnataka.
NMDC had produced 6.87 million tonnes and sold 6.84 million tonnes of Iron ore in the first 3 months (April-June) of the current fiscal. The quarter on quarter production has almost halved, considering the Jan-March production at 11.35 million tonnes. In June, NMDC has produced 2.34 million tonnes and sold 2.31 million tonnes of Iron Ore.
