Modi Cabinet Expanded : 43 fresh faces including Scindia, Sonowal, Paras inducted

New Delhi: The much anticipated swearing-in ceremony of new ministers in the Narendra Modi cabinet is underway at Rastrapati Bhawan.  As many as 43 leaders have taken oath as ministers. Out of the 43, 15 leaders sworn in as cabinet ministers and rest sworn in as state ministers.

Some of the names in the list include Jyotiraditya Scindia, Narayan Rane, Sarvananda Sonawal, Pashupati Kumar Paras, Bhupender Yadav, Anupriya Patel, Shobha Karandlaje, Meenakshi Lekhi, Ajay Bhatt, Rajeev Chandra sekhar, Aswini Vaishnav and Anurag Thakur.

Earlier today as many as 12 union ministers resigned from the cabinet. The ministers are D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Prakash Javadekar, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Babul Supriyo, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao,  Rattan Lal Kataria, Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Sushri Debasree Chaudhuri.
