India successfully test fires ICBM Agni-5 missile, capable to hitting Chinese Targets

Bhubaneswar:  Indian today successfully test fired the Inter continetal ballistic missile (ICBM) Agni 5  from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island (Wheeler Island) off the  Odisha coast at 9.45 hrs. With a range of more that 5000 kilometres, the ballistic messile is capable of hitting targets in almost all Asian countries, Northen Africa and Eastern Europe.

All the Radars, Electro Optical Tracking Stations and Telemetry Stations tracked the vehicle all through the course of the trajectory. All the mission objectives have been achieved. The Defense Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman has congratulated all the DRDO Scientists, Staff, Armed Forces and Industries for the success of A5 Mission.
