New Delhi: India’s daily number of recoveries has once again exceeded number of new cases as the country reported 3.26 lakh fresh cases and 3890 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the data uploaded by the union health ministry, India has reported 3,26,098 new cases, 3890 deaths and 3,53,299 recoveries in the last 24 hours ( from 8 am Friday to 8 am Saturday). With this India’s COVID-19 tally has risen to 2,43,72,907, while the number of active cases has dropped to 36,73,802.
As many as 16,93,093 samples were tested on 14th May as compared to 18,75,515 sampled tested on 13th May.
Though India reported lesser number of cases, the positivity rate has increased to 19 per cent against 18 per cent in the previous day.
