For the 3rd Consecutive day, India reports over 3 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases

Bhubaneswar: For the 3rd consecutive day, India has reported over 3 lakh COVID-19 cases as the country continues to struggle with the horrendous second wave.

As per the data released by the Union Health Ministry, the country has reported 346786 new cases and record 2674 fatalities in the last 24 hours. With this India’s COVID-19 tally has peaked to 1.66 crore and death toll has risen to 189544. India’s active case load has peaked to a new high of 25.52 lakh for the first time. Meanwhile, as many as 219838 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.

Maharastra has remained as the worst affected state with over 7 lakh active cases and 62,479 deaths. Meanwhile, the situation in Delhi is becoming worse day by as as the national capital recorded 24331 new cases and record 348 deaths amid a acute Oxygen crisis.
