Biznext India : Despite mixed reviews, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan starrer Action Masala Simba has a huge Sunday with collections around Rs.31 Crore taking the weekend collection to Rs. 76 Crore. The collections may witness slight drop in the weekdays, despite this the movie is likely to cross Rs. 100 Crore in its first week.
“The places which recorded lower collections on day one are also recording very good numbers on Sunday though Mumbai continues to lead with collections set to be around 13 crore nett. Bihar is a slight disappointment as it is a single screen circuit so should be better but maybe because of the film has a Maharashtra feel it has affected collections there” reported Bollywood business portal boxofficeindia.com.
The collections of Shahrukh Khan starrer Zero has dropped significantly in the second week. While the first week collections of the movie was Rs.84 Crore the 2nd-weekend collection has dropped significantly to around Rs.3 crores taking the total collections to about Rs.87 Crores.
