NMDC announces marginal reduction in Iron Ore prices

Bhubaneswar: Public sector miner NMDC on Monday announced marginal reduction in Iron Ore prices. The revised prices have been made effective from July 10.

While, Lump (sized ore) prices have been reduced by 2 percent to Rs. 7450 per tonne from Rs.7650 per tonne , Fines prices reduced by 3 percent to Rs.6360 per tonne from Rs.6560 per tonne fixed on May 12, 2021.

In May 12, NMDC had hiked Iron Ore prices upto 30 percent. While Iron Ore Lump price (65.53, 6-40mm) has been hiked by 10 per cent to Rs. 7650 per tonne, Fine (643, -1 Omm) price has been hiked by 29.6 per cent to Rs. 6560 per tonne. These prices were kept unchanged on June 6.
