New Delhi : India’s top car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has sold a total of 162,290 units in September 2018, which is 0.5% less than its September 2017 sales of 163071 units.
The September 2018 figure includes 153,550 units in domestic market and 8,740 units of exports. The exports of the company witnessed 25% decline from 11,671 units in Sept 2017.
In the six months ending September, Maruti-Suzuki has reported 10% growth in sales to 975,327 units backed by 11.3% growth in its domestic sales of 919,240 units. However, its exports during the 6 months has dropped by 7.8% to 56,087units from 60,857 units during the same period last year.
