Biznextindia : Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) on Monday announced price hike of its selected models owing to rise in input costs. The weighted average price increase in Ex Showroom Prices (Delhi) across select models is 1.9%. The price hike has been made effective from today.
“In continuation to our earlier communication on 30th August 2021, please note that with effect from 06th September, 2021, the company announced a price change for select models owing to increase in various input costs. The weighted average price increase in Ex-Showroom Prices (Delhi) across select models is 1.9%” MSIL informed the bourses.
In July, the company had hiked prices of Swift and all CNG models upto Rs. 15,000.
MSIL has reported 4.8 percent rise in sales at 130,699 units in August 2021. Total sales in the month include domestic sales of 105,775 units, sales to other OEM of 4,305 units and exports of 20,619 units.
