Maruti Suzuki hikes EECO price by Rs.8000

New Delhi : Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), India’s largest seller of passenger cars has announced a price hike of Rs.8000 in EECO (all non-Cargo variants) owing to introduction of Passenger Airbag. The revised price has come into effect from today.  

“Effective from today i.e. 30th November, 2021, the Company announced a price increase of Rs 8000/- in EECO (all non-Cargo variants) owing to introduction of Passenger Airbag” the company said in a regulatory filing.

At 15.15 hours, the Maruti Suzuki stock was down 1.16 percent at Rs. 7,063.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Last September, the company had hiked prices of selected models owing to rise in input costs.
