New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India’s largest seller of cars and passenger vehicles, has reported 20.2% growth in its total sales at 160,226 units. It includes domestic sales of 146,480 units and 3,808 units for other OEMs. In addition, the Company exported 9,938 units in December 2020.
With total sales of 495,897 units in Q3 (FY 2020-21) the Company registered a growth of 13.4% in the 3rd quarter (October-December 2020) over the same period previous year.
In the April-December 9 months, Maruti Suzuki has reported 18% drop in sales at 965626 units mainly due to drop in sales during the lockdown months earlier this year. Domestic sales have dropped by 18.4% to 883791 units during the period.
